Butternut Waltham PLUS

Larger fruits
Improved selection of Butternut Waltham
Better fruit shape
Higher yield
Butternut Waltham PLUS was developed by Avanos Seeds as an improved version of the well-known Butternut Waltham. Compared to Waltham, Waltham PLUS produces larger fruits with longer, thicker necks, resulting in more flesh and higher weight. This makes it more appealing to consumers. When ripe, the fruit turns a deep orange color, with excellent quality and high yields. The fruits have a post-harvest shelf life of over three months. They can remain in the field for one to two months and be stored in a well-ventilated shed or another storage facility before marketing.
