Onion Texas Grano

Yellow Onion

Short to medium storage

Reliable OPV variety

Standard variety

Onion Texas Grano is the standard OPV variety widely used by farmers in Zimbabwe. It is a medium to late-maturing variety with low dry matter content, making it unsuitable for long-term storage. Texas Grano is well suited for the green onion market and can be dried, but it must be sold within a month of harvesting to minimize losses.
