Pumpkin Kayla PLUS (Hybrid)

Very vigorous - dual purpose crop

Suited for muboora (pumpkin leaves) and fruits

Prolific fruiter, excellent eating quality

Great storage quality

Hybrid Pumpkin Kayla PLUS is Zimbabwe’s first hybrid pumpkin, highly adaptable to local growing conditions and offering several advantages over traditional pumpkins. Its young leaves can be harvested as a leafy vegetable, while the pumpkin fruits develop later in the growing cycle. The mature fruit has a tan exterior with deep orange flesh, featuring excellent eating quality—non-fibrous and naturally sweet. Being day-length neutral, Hybrid Pumpkin Kayla PLUS can be grown year-round, provided temperatures remain suitable for optimal crop growth.

A soil test is essential to determine the correct fertilizer rates and types for optimal results.
