Tomato Amukela PLUS

Hybrid Tomato

Semi - Determinate

High yielder

Large clusters of large round fruit

Hybrid Amukela PLUS is a recent and proud addition to our PLUS range of superior seed varieties. It is a semi-determinate hybrid with excellent vigor and good field disease resistance. Hybrid Amukela PLUS is a very high yielder, producing extra-large and firm fruits. Hybrid Amukela PLUS is best trellised up to at least 1.5 m high. It thrives in open fields when conditions are frost-free but can also be grown year-round in greenhouses. Hybrid Tomato Amukela PLUS may be pruned to three main branches for better crop management and larger fruit sizes but can also be grown without pruning for standard-sized fruits, which are well within marketable size ranges. Trusses typically bear six large fruits each. Fruits have a slight green shoulder when immature, which disappears as they ripen. They are very firm with thick, fleshy walls, develop an attractive red color, and keep exceptionally well after harvest. Due to its firmness, Hybrid Tomato Amukela PLUS is an excellent shipping tomato.
