Tsunga Paida PLUS

Widely Adapted

Bolting resistant - long picking period

Planting can be done year-round crop

Early and vigorous

Tsunga Paida PLUS is a superior in-house development by Avanos Seeds, designed as a vigorous and improved selection of the traditional Zimbabwean vegetable Tsunga. Tsunga Paida PLUS is a late-bolting variety, allowing for a longer picking period. However, like most brassicas, it may bolt early in spring if exposed to heat and moisture stress, so increased irrigation is recommended in hot seasons. The leaves are large, tender, and flavorful, making it ideal for frequent harvesting. Under good management, the crop can be reaped weekly or twice weekly. Tsunga Paida PLUS thrives with organic manure, including compost or well-decomposed manure, for optimal growth and quality.
